Solid carbide with back groove. The solid carbide consists of 80-98% tungsten carbide and a binder (mostly cobalt for strength or nickel for corrosion resistance). The finishing process takes place at around 1400° C by means of sintering. The grinding for the final shape is done using diamond grinding wheels.
