It is with sadness that we say goodbye to Helmut Eberhard

Unfortunately, today we have to share the sad news that our senior managing director and long-time managing partner Helmut Eberhard, master blacksmith and recipient of the Golden Medal of Honor of the State of Styria, has passed away at the age of 81 after a long illness.

As a visionary and strategist, he was at the helm of our company for over 50 years. He transformed a small company with five employees into an international market leader for drilling and precision tools. His handshake quality, his business acumen and his foresight have had a lasting impact on the success story of FISCH-Tools. Under his leadership, our FISCH® brand was established on international markets.

The training of apprentices was a matter close to his heart. Respectful treatment on an equal footing, appreciation and care for his employees were at the heart of his decisions.
In 2014, Helmut Eberhard was awarded the Handelsmerkur for his life's work and his successful export activities in Europe, the USA and Canada. In 2019, he was awarded the Golden Medal of Honor of the State of Styria for his services.

The supervisory board, the management, the works council and the staff of FISCH-Tools honor his life's work.
